A week of covid has given me plenty of time to (re)watch movies. Some aged really poorly (looking at you Hellraiser) whereas others are just classics for a reason (Goodfellas anyone?). And in my film binging I decided to re-watch Fight Club, let's say that I was not disappointed at all, this masterpiece has aged like a fine bottle of wine. The movie/story is not dated whatsoever, au contraire as the French would say. Mr. Palahniuk has written a classic that is just as relevant as when it first came out more than 20 years ago. Would recommend. And yes the soundtrack by the dust brothers is still nice.
I'm sorry I broke the first two rules of Fight Club.

FC was one of only few movies that have surprised me towards the end. Sixth Sense is the only other one I can think of currently. Ever since then I think straight away someone is already dead or has a split personality within 5min of the start.
Hope you've come out of the other side of covid ok.

FC goes also much deeper than the personality issues, it is a full frontal attack on the downfall of our society. Which is IMHO even more relevant than 20 years ago. Covid did not manage to get me, we're back. Alive and coughing, eh kicking.
