After three months I finally got my system in the mail! After a couple of days I'm getting the hang of it. It's so much fun!!!
There was a forecast for rain so I decided to sit outside under grim weather and plug away instead of enjoying the last day of skiing. Joke was on me because several cm of snow dumped in the mountains. Oh well, something fun came out of it!

There are some really nice sounds in there! I love to see a drone patch in action.
Just a tip about the audio recording: it's not hard or expensive to get the audio directly from the modular into the camera with a cheap recorder or audio interface. I made a video about it if you're interested:

I like the idea of the field recorder, but I also found you can record audio with a phone hooked into a Focusrite Scarlett using USB. So I may go that route because I was going to get one to interface my MPC and guitar with my computer.

Yes, USB from the Scarlett to the phone would work, too. However I'm not so sure about Android anymore. About 2 years ago they released an update to my phone (Samsung S10e) which disabled the sound recording via USB for an unknown reason. iPhones should still work, I hope.

Are you saying you can connect a scarlett soundcard to a phone over usb? How? looking at my iphone it seems a square hole round peg situation to say the least. Ok I looked into it and it is indeed possible.
Who would have known. Not sure I'll invest into an adaptor for my iphone8 since it seems a bit EOL right now.
I love that jam by the way.
