I came across this on the tube, it's pretty clear theat mr Frusciante has evolved to a higher level after quitting RHCP and the drugs. The peppers not so much though...
Apparently he has released also some work on planet Mu, the label or mr. Aaron Funk.

big JF style fan. nice find. the first 3 or so minutes invite you to listen to the rest. recorded between 2009 and 11 too. wonder how much other recordings like this are out there.

RHCP has pretty much become another Metallica, a band that has existed way beyond their best before date. Mr. Frusciante is now more or less the life support system that keeps that band 'alive' I don't see any innovative ideas coming from the mind of Mr. Kiedis. I miss the days before bloodsugarsexmagic #mytwoeurocents

Found that bandcamp page you mentioned and thankfully the Amethblowl track is on there.
for me, Mothers Milk and Blood Sugar. Then the odd bit after mostly just for JF guitar bits, 'Hey' springs to mind on Stadium Arcadium.
Uplift mofo and freaky styley were pretty crazy good too. discovered those after BSSM.
Haven't followed them recently but wiki says he returned in 2019 but who knows now.

he has stated in interviews that is first love is electronics, he uses it as an incentive to practice guitar. I am very happy to see him healthy and clean after those years struggling with addiction. I've witnessed first-hand brilliant creative people losing it to the white powders and it's just heartbreaking.

Interesting, would never have guessed, thought it would be the other way round for sure re electronics. not that I know the bloke.
Couldn't agree more. Truly heart breaking what it can do to people/families/friends.
