Very nice dark sound. Really like the bass. I could imagine MF DOOM or GZA rapping over this for some reason.

mine does the same on mobile so I either listen when at the computer or if you have the soundcloud app on your phone search for the artist or track title. I could never get the link to work but maybe someone out there has a solution.

That's it, program your drums unquantized Dilla FTW! When chopping your individual drum sounds leave enough air in front of your samples to play with via the envelope settings of of your sampler.
