Old school drum programming - trigger points on a rotating disc you can switch between, driven by a motor, making valve drum sounds... Incredible! Attachments:

yeah that's pretty incredible From the first minute, when you hear only the sound of mechanics, it sounds already like a whole song to me

Yup, it sounds like magic when it's not even making sounds! Incredible approach - there's a whole series of vids where someone learns aspects electronics by figuring out what they do discretely in these relates to modern microcontrollers.

Now I have to share THIS: This guy lives nearby at me... Very cool! The polyend perc had my attention for a while, though I already don't really have space for an accoustic kit so... Struggling to upload photos of the glorious circuitry inside that Wurlitzer... Valves aplenty, and trimmers too for beefing things to the point of just at the edge of resonance... I've had a successful morning though as I've repaired one broken trigger button, changed the drive belt and rekindled two broken sounds!
