Does the switch matrix creates a pop or click when switching on and off audio? I was going to buy a 6mute for this reason, but then started wondering if the switch matrix could do something similar and be a little more multi functional.

the switch matrix can cause clicks and pops - not unlike the 3vcswitch. i'd go for the 6mute if you want to mute or bring in a track/voice...

BTW: a click free audio switch (like in 6MUTE) isn't trivial; it's a kind of simple VCA plus a short attack/decay envelope... 😳

Putting one on my next order, and here's to one less rabbit hole to go down! |

I tried to do it with an Arduino and some digital potentiometers It kind of worked, but was super noisy. So instead of clicks i just got a lot of zipper noise from changing the resistance value of The digi pots.
Well, one experience richer :-)

I was wondering why the 3CVSWITCH gets a click when it changes. Maybe I need the 6MUTE module. Sigh, more modules to buy!!!!!1!1!!!!!!! |
