Hey everyone,
So recently I've been using MIDI a lot to sequence patches through my AE Modular system but as many of you know there is no quantizer for AE modular (yet).
I was wondering if anyone has built one/knows of a method to quantize the oscillator on the ae modular. I find a lot of the time I can't produce solid parts from the system purely because I can't keep my notes in western scale.
I hoped that there was a quantizer unit sold by someone like bastl, who creates patch wire synth compatible gear, but I have yet to find any.

Robert is already working on a quantizer. It is in the prototype stage which means it's maybe 2-3 months away from release. You can check the list of upcoming modules here www.tangiblewaves.com/sunrise.html

The Quantizer for AE is already under development! I had to interrupt the work because of all the general improvements, but will finish it the next weeks. It will offer two CV channels and 16 scales to select of. Plus, several stable and good tracking oscillators will come soon; this was indeed a weak point of AE up to now - 1V/octave oscillators weren't planned initially but the Kickstarter crowd urged me to do it ;-)

I feel like this is one of the modules that will really improve the system moving froward. Especially the improvement to the oscillator tracking. Also, still looking forward to Algodrone. Planning on doing a larger order (Gotta get it shipped to the US) once I've made up my mind what to get.
