Yeeha, the first batch of Dead Bands sold out today, so a big thanks to anyway supporting by buying a kit! Good news for ppl who just missed it: it shouldn't be too long for the next batch to arrive. Only need a couple of extra components (so probably 2-4 weeks). And a small update on the Five Steps: the previous prototype did not behave as expected. And a new one is now stuck in customs for about two weeks already. Delays, delays, delays, almost feels like Cirrus!  |

The deadband is one of my fav modules for cv manipulation so looking forward to the five steps!
Have you tried turning down the timing on the delay... 😅

Congrats! That was the first none Tangible waves module I bought, I think I even got one of the first ones. Still don't understand fully what the thing is doing but I love it  |

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Five Steps and the Chaos Generator. Fourth (yeah it gets messy) prototype of Five Steps works.. 95%. Just got it in the mail yesterday, but there is still some weird behaviour. Very weird because the module worked on the breadboard, but seemingly doesnt want to behave the same on PCB (probably routing mistake on my part..) And the Chaos generator: I'm starting out easy with this one because of, well, mild frustrations with the Five Steps. A single sloth should be available soon as DIY kit! With the possibility to build it in different speed depending on the components you choose. Prototype will be ordered this week  |

MORE GOOD NEWS: Managed to make the Five Steps work!!! And the best news is, I'll only need to order some different sized pots (1k instead of 100k  ) and the design problem will be solved. This means that next month, the first batch should be able to go online! I'll also sell the first, limited run of three of the prototype, but for a lower price: in these prototypes, the order of the pots is reversed to what you'd expect (it starts with CV 5 at the top and then goes down). But besides that, this run will be functional too, and I think it'd be a waste to just throw them away. I'm VERY happy that this module will see the wide world after all!! |

Woot! I just decided to add two more oscillators to my rig. Since I much prefer a West-coast sound, and I had a pair of wavefolders already, I really needed a true waveshaper to round out my west-coast voices.

PCB's arrived, but the last components are still stuck in Belgian customs (for a week-and-a-half now  ). I'll update here once the stock arrives & when the new batch will go live. (and will prob also make a seperate forum post here) |
