New modules, again?!? Robert is on fire! I'd love to see Plaits and Marbles - Plaits in particular sounds so good on YouTube!
So, so happy to see AE thriving. It's such a great system, I honestly believe getting one last year is the best decision I've ever made. Thanks so much to all at Tangible Waves for your continued work and innovation!

Well i wasn't planning to place an order until Cirrus was released but if there's a financial benefit to ordering in the next few weeks......
All very reasonable, the chip shortage is really messing up everyone's business at the moment. And if the relatively small price increase for us helps subsidise the education units then all the better!
I am unduly excited about pink patch cables
Regarding MI clones: mentioned this in another thread somewhere but my vote goes to Rings / Elements - i just love those plucky resonant sounds.

I should really just get another three rows to fill up my AE modular area completely Click-free mute switches are really nice. I hope the 3VCSWTICH module will be updated as well at some point with debounced button circuitry.

Lots of lovely news again! The price increase seems very reasonable, sounds like even just adjusting for inflation to me 😉
I would like to put a vote in for MI Rings too! I LOVE these plucky, physical modelling type sounds, and right now i have not a single way to make them in hardware. Seems like there are not a lot of hardware synths on the market in the lower price brackets that have that sound, it sometimes seems like a 'eurorack exclusive' sound to me. Ableton comes close with some plugins, but that's just not the same Fun.

Well time for a new Wavetables then This one is so great I was thinking about getting another one, but the time has come it seems. And some modules, obviously!
Quick question, the VU-Tube, are they just vumeter and looking fancy or do they do something special?

Btw, since it was this place to put the next MI module clone wishes...
Rings (had it in eurorack and loved it) Ears (for the enveloppe follower side)
Any other will be welcome as well 😊

First post after hanging around the forum for a while just to say...
STAGES
please!
It's an amazingly versatile CV source and Sequencer, i use it all the time in MiRack.

I feel a little weird about MI stuff being cloned into AE. It's popular for a reason, but so ubiquitous in eurorack. I feel like every other system sounds like Plaits or Rings at times. I like the idea of AE as something totally different. I know that's a little ridiculous, and I don't mean it negatively at all. Just a musing. It'll bring a TON of new users, and that's awesome for a thousand reasons. If I had to pick one, I'd say Marbles or Ripples. Or a broken down Rings with just the resonator section.

Interesting point, at some point I was having the same thought about the Makenoise Maths. On the other hand, the AE modular is more limited in module choices than for example eurorack, yet when you check the music made on the system the results are IMHO very diverse and different, so I'm not really afraid that adding an MI clone module to AE will make AE sound like any other eurorack, it's the patching that makes all the difference.

I would love to see MI marbles in AE. Playable random sources are just so much fun.
