gday Folks,
another Jam
The guitar is subtly changing the Grains/wavetables output through Logic depending on the pitch played. I think so anyway!
This Track is far from finished but i like where it is going towards an industrial/summoning feel.
The Guitar is going through the Ae via the Audio i/o through Logic input 1 and Grains as In 2. The XOR out of Logic is then gated through both VCA's then through DeepSpace on the Multifx.
The AND out of Logic is then going through Wavetables.
Novation circuit mono station is the clock and gate.
Volca modular is the add hoc chant sound.

Ill try to make it a bit more obvious too if I discover something worthy, i kind of like the rawness but it did get a bit too lost in the mix on second thought. |

Very interesting way to mix Guitar into AE! Have been thinking myself about making a guitar/synth pedal or fx based on XOR-gates adding together different sound sources.
Sounds really cool. Is this only the guitar through AE we hear, or is there also some of the original guitar sound mixed in?

Is this only the guitar through AE we hear, or is there also some of the original guitar sound mixed in? Yes the original guitar is being heard as well through a bigmuff pedal and some reverb. I also am sending that same bigmuff output into logic as I thought the noise variations might influence the sound around more in ae. I haven't gone back to the patch again because I was building the quad boost and dead band to add to it. I'm thinking I'll have less original guitar and just pluck at diff points but will see. I'm enjoying the XOR output a lot. Cheers Kurt |

G'day All,
Thought id share some further fun I've been having experimenting with the Guitar into Logic.
Main bits are
Guitar is gating the Ae by putting audio into the control I/O. A fuzz pedal is used so the feed is continual for a period of time after plucking.
its also clocking the seq16 into Solina
Guitar audio (no original sound outside of AE) and Deadpan into Logic XOR
Wavetables gated and into Multifx dly+rev
kick through boost off accents in seq16
