Just starting with building my own modulars and am very new to electronics. Right now I am in a research mode and learned a lot about electronics with many AHA moments! I watched a lot of Moritz Kleins Videos on Youtube that you may know.

But I am wondering since he is building it on a 12V basis, how would these projects be different in a 5V world? Or what actually is naming the voltage level that is needed for a certain circuit. And in a Synthesizer world, what is actually the difference/advantage/disadvantage running an oscillator for example on 5V or 12V.
