Hi

I've been asked to join in with a small jamming session on a beach this summer if the Covid restrictions allow it.

My kit will be running off a USB power-bank but what I am lacking is a good portable speaker that will do the AE modular and Volcas some justice.

Has anyone had experience with anything like this that can give me tips and maybe recommend some good speakers that are powered from a USB and with a 3.5mm jack input.

Just had a thought that it would also be nice if the session could be recorded ?

For small jam in the city I take my JBL extrem. Otherwise, I have (bigger and cheaper): EL25

It's the smallest version but it goes up to 15". As most full range speaker it does lack in the sub territory. So we paired it with a 8" passive sub with a Sure-electronics amplifier board at 18v and use the basic power driller batteries with it. However, it does sound good without,

In outdoor situation (can see the amplifier board at 16s). Recorded only via my phone. I can tell you it's enough load for a party of 30-40 people and appreciated by the local ducks
