Phew! Those are quite a lot of new releases. Incredible! Wondering how the new case designs will look like  The new 2ENV module is such a huge step from the original ENV. That surprised me the most. Two envelopes with CV control, End triggers and buttons in 1U!? This is almost a Maths or DUSG now. ... I will need a new case soon  |

Merry Christmas everyone... looks like its going to be a fun 2019 a couple of things not mentioned (I think) in the newsletter that I noticed - Master module seems to have an update 9v on front panel, and 5v/gnd available on the pinouts, very useful for DIY - Sunrise page seems to have had a 'refresh', with some new modules appearing in the prototype /development sections www.tangiblewaves.com/sunrise.htmlIm also really interested in the new case designs ... though Im ok at the moment. the 2ENV is a great step forward, definitely will grab a couple of these, but the lowpass gate and also the new OSC2/d will likely be added to my basket  I love the direction robertlanger has gone, not only new modules , but also some nice refinements on existing modules. (I also like the fact that the refinements mean the complete systems become ever more enticing, great for new users!) Hope you all have fun holidays, and get to spend time with your family, friends and AE modular. |

An enjoyable Christmas to all.
Defintely some exciting new modules there and I had only just finished thinking about what extra modules I could fit into the few remaining spaces on my Rack2 System... which now looks very much like it will need to be expanded in order to fit in all of the new goodies. In particular, the combination of the Wavefolder and the LPG should be really fun.
I finished work for the holiday on Friday and had the headspace to spend some quality time with my AE Modular and what fun it was. I created a couple of very interesting sequences, using some great modulation (IMO, of course), these will find their way into tracks, togther with some of the ambient sections that came out also. I was immediately thinking about how I could use a particular module from my wish list to make it even more interesting - and now there are even more. So, thank you Robert, I'm pleased that I ventured into this format.
The people yet to come to the format are in for a real treat as the changes are brought in, as well as all of the new items. Good times ahead in 2019, I think.

I ordered the 2 ENV as was waiting for a more sophisticated envelope generator, also ordered the Wavefolder and updated 2 VCA; useful additional functionality. Well done Robert on not standing still, and look forward to the further release in 2019.

Well done Robert on not standing still, and look forward to the further release in 2019. I have just got my system with the new 2ENV module and just love it. As I was doing one of those evolving patches where you just stick more and more cables everywhere I ran out of LFOs and then remembered that the new 2ENV can be used as 2 LFOs, too using the re-trigger! And the waveforms are much better shapeable on the 2ENV as well because you can adjust the rise and fall individually. Works like a charm. |
