So a package arrived from Murnau today with a couple of replacement modules in - and they were fitted with the new knobs! I don't know if anyone else has posted about them yet but they look and feel amazing, really sturdy and nice in the hand! I liked the shaft potentiometers as they were but I'm now a convert - love them!

I just received a pack of 50 new knobs and I have to say I was not as enthusiastic as you. They do feel nice in the hand, and it's great to have bigger knobs, but I found them to be quite slippery! Moreover, in modules like the sequencer where the knobs are close to each other, there's added difficulty in turning them because your fingers have more limited space.
I even did a test timing myself how fast I could turn 8 sequencer pots to a specific value (say II, V, IV, etc.), which I might need in a live setting, and there was no clear winner between the new and the old ones.
I think they would greatly benefit from some sort of grainy, striped surface, just like the old knobs, so that they lock on the fingers. I will try to simulate that in a DIY way, maybe stick something on them.
