Happy Bandcamp Friday! I'm happy to announce the release of AEther Waves Vol.2! This is the second collaboration from artists from the AE Modular forum at forum.aemodular.com. You will hear a very broad spectrum of how people make music with the AE Modular and it shows how versatile this system is. But no matter how different the tracks are from one another, they are all 100% performed with the AE Modular system and showcase how versatile this instrument is. Please consider purchasing this album at the cost of a large cappucino to show your appreciation of the talent that has gone into producing these tracks and to support Musicians Without Borders who use the power of music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war. Their vision is to inspire people worldwide to engage as peacemakers and use music to transform lives. You can find more info on their website: www.musicianswithoutborders.orgaetherwaves.bandcamp.com/- Carsten PS: Big thanks to spacedog for the mastering of all those raw tracks and blakmoth for providing the artwork! Also thanks and congratulations to all you awesome musicians who have been brave enough to put your creation out there for the world to hear! This is what it's all about, be proud, because you all ROCK! handtapeloop, 101, arti, funbun, blackhairrolledindriedblood, otakumike, intrlnkd, martynaudio, foxermod, moruial, tIB, namke, krakenkraft, slowscape, tarcreeper, Gaëtan, blakmoth, NightMachines, bahm, visuellemusik, MaxRichardson97, rockysmalls, and last but not least: robertlanger

I've been listening this morning. Unbelievable the number of sounds this sleepy little synth can make!

Big thank You for the whole team and fellow musiscians for making it happen again! My first impression is the whole compilation sounds mature and I mean the sound of AE Modular ( it defenitely is a "proper" instrument with serious capabilities) and the craftmanship of the artists involved. Would love to see another volume on tape!

I'm amazed by the quality and diversity of these tracks.
It's one fine showcase for the Æ, and the forum members.
Still got a bit left of my seriously large Xmas beer for the last 3 tracks.

1 hour 45 minutes would perfectly fit on a double vinyl (or maybe 5 minutes less). If all 26 poeple would pay 100€ we could make 300 albums.... but they have to be stored somewhere as they would maybe never sell all. Also someone will have to do shipping. My flat is too small for that. Or everyone would get 11 copies. What do you think?
Edit: personally i would also take just three copies and donate the rest for the same charity purpose as the digital one. Maybe they could be included with a special edition starter rack then. So there wouldn't be extra shipping effort.

Really nice release. Haven’t stopped listening to it since yesterday. What a great collection of diverse and interesting work! Lovely presentation too (BLAKMOTH is a very talented individual). Many thanks to everyone involved for putting the work in for this.

Today I had time to listen thru and I'm again blown by the diversity and versatility of the contributions. To hear what others can tickle from the machine is also an incentive to abuse electronics harder …

CD’s are the cassette of the future !!

I personally would pay 120€ too... Just to own this on Vinyl. And if there would be some sales... i mean for 26 sales everybody could get back 20€s.... And no, Cds will not be cassettes of the future and vinyl is still vinyl. The coversize alone is worth it to put it on a wall even if you don't have a turntable.

I can remaster it with clicks, pops, saturation and compression if you like...? You can play it with a blindfold on and Bob's your Banana To you, only $60 (50% off your "willing tp pay" price). For an extra $20, I'll do you a 12" cover with authentic discoloured and peeling covering.

Full forgiveness for sinful ‘digitizations’ requires many ‘hail dolby’s’ though... and let’s face it we are ALL sinners!

Just re a Vinyl version ... personally I’m not keen for this as I have very limited space and haven’t owned a record player for over 20 years. I also live in Australia so not the World’s most central place to ship stuff from (nor to, for that matter 😔)
That said, if someone is willing to organise a Vinyl press and to manage the distribution then I’ll definitely assist with the social media marketing of this and to put this on the Bandcamp page..
