In case you're not subscribed to the youtube channel, here's the next module we're playing with at wonkystuff…
… it's conceptually similar to the Turing Machine module
(I definitely need to improve my video making skills - a better camera for a start!)

You have my attention! While I've never tried the Turing machine I was a huge fan of the metalbox gated comparator that I believe is quite similar to it.

This is awesome. I was briefly considering getting the music thing modular turing machine in an attempt to DIY it into AE and now I don’t have to.

Want. Definitely want.
This future "cab 5" of mine seems to be heading in a very Wonkystuff direction...

I would definitely be interested in this. I've played with the Turing Machine in VCV rack a bit but this is the first time I actually understood how it worked The backlit logo is also a really nice touch!

(I definitely need to improve my video making skills - a better camera for a start!) Cameras are completely overrated! Any modern smart phone has a camera that can do a wonderful job. You just need to figure out an overhead mounting rig or other tripod arrangement to have a stable view on the modular. Proper lighting is also a big factor - this is something I'm still really bad at. In terms of getting your voice together with the synth audio, I'm now resorting to recording my voice directly with my smart phone and the synth via Audacity and then lining them up in post production on my video software. This produces the best results IMHO. Otherwise ... I love this module and I hope you will again sell a DIY version as I enjoyed dusting off my soldering iron last time for the mm33 and getting to SMT soldering will be even more fun (and challenging)!

Wow, a turing machine! Was on my modules list to make, but now I can make a check mark on it! :-)))

Brings up a point, tho...as we get more developers/manufacturers on board with the AE format, this frees up Robert and his crew to cook up other interesting things! To say nothing of taking a bit of strain off of the build process...

Great! I was going to buy a second Sample and Hold, but this might be an even better option. I'm wanting to do more sequencer-less sequencing.

Oh it looks very interesting! I've seen somewhere on the Internet someone mentioned Turing maschine can be combined with Matrix mixer. As these are exact two modules You developed, could You ( namke ) elaborate on this, or make another film showing the posiblilities?

As these are exact two modules You developed, could You ( namke ) elaborate on this, or make another film showing the posiblilities? Well, today I got a tripod mount for my phone so I should be able to make a video at some point soon! I also have some time off work this week Although the rbss was built upon the principles of the Turing machine (I basically built it from the block diagram in this description from Tom Whitwell), I don't call it a Turing Machine for two reasons: - The Turing Machine Module is distinctly hardware, and allows other expanders etc. to be added -- this design doesn't allow that;
- I dislike the name 'Turing Machine', as this is definitely not the theoretical computing device descibed my Alan Turing!!
There is no reason behind my making these modules first, they were just modifications of designs I had already

Having said only last week that I was done buying modules for a while, I'm now insanely impatient for this, haha
