just seen this on Robert’s facebook... wood verneer cases! oh you lucky future AE peoples ... ie: anybody that hasn’t already bought their cases.. personally i love the look of them... but it’s too late for ‘moi’ .. add on 20 single row already scored ... plus you ‘wood’ have to update all yr cases for it to be aesthetically pleasing..

I like the walnut, but sailors and fishermen are paranoid about taking walnut on a boat, lol.

I actually think the grey panels matches the wood cases nicely. Well i recently bought 2 new 2x20 cases, so i can't really justify any new cases for now. But in some not so distant future i will likely need two new 2x40 walnut or bamboo cases - curved like the gamer monitors preferably

They're both nice - but i'm a sucker for a bit of walnut.

I would miss the red ends. I was thinking that light bamboo with a vivid red stain on the end pieces would be rather cool - or red anodised aluminium.

No vote; I see many of you like this as an option, so I will offer bamboo AND walnut :-)

Wonder whether it's possible to replace just the side panels - bit of hot air to soften up the glue?

Doesn't make much sense to replace my existing rack since I just mounted it inside a case, but I've been having thoughts about a potential third row as a sort of 'performance/control' rack - with things like a SEQ16, 3VCSWITCH, TRIQ164 in there - and that would look lovely as a standalone unit in the walnut case.

I can't decide which I like better, so here's a question: Would it be possible to buy two cases and mix them up? Like take the ends of the walnut and put it on the bamboo and vice versa?

Oh goodie gumdrops, they’re finally available in the shop! I’m going to get the bamboo cases as soon as I can, which will also give me an opportunity to add another rack for more modules!
