The BUS sockets are outputs from the MIDI–CV interface of the MASTER module. The MASTER module converts MIDI data to analog CV which other modules can access via internal connection to the MASTER. BUS CTRL is MIDI CC 20 data (0–127) converted to analog CV (0–5V). Thanks, that clarifies it :-). As far I know of, it doesn't show in the quick guide (?). Was my first thing to check!
