anyone planning on going this year? Ive not yet booked... but seriously considering attending again as was great fun last year. (date caught me out a bit, as its a couple of weeks earlier than other years?!) if you've not been and you're 'in the area' ... it's well worth attending. its a great place to meet people, new and old, listen to some great music and some interesting demos and workshops. (and of course meet exhibitors, and see a whole load of cool gear ) oh, and Berlin is a fantastic city... lots of cool (musical) stuff going on. (Ableton Loop is on at same time this year, so that might mean even more cool artists/events in the city !) hmm, i think I've convinced myself... anyone else details: Berlin : 23-25 April 2020 www.superbooth.com/

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it this year. But I wish everyone who goes a lot of fun. Last year was my first visit to Superbooth and it was an all round fantastic experience!

Maybe we can meet up with a video link? well... looks like it’s cancelled along with most other stuff.. really sad that the chance to chat face to face with Robert and the rest of you that could have made it is gone.. still.. at least Robert got out of the Canary Isles zone before sandstorms and covid quarantine got him!! i guess we will have to ramp up the posting here on the forum to make up for it ...

Yes it’s very sad that all of this gets cancelled. If you have bought tickets then you can request a refund as per their announcement www.superbooth.com/en/robertlanger, NightMachines and I are currently discussing alternative, online activities that will help make up for the loss of Superbooth.

Hopefully this bad craziness will be over and done with by the time Knobcon rolls around this year. With Superbooth in the bin for 2020, that would be the next really huge synth trade/expo show. I'm going to wait a hot minute to see if it'll be on or not, but it would seem like that might be the next best shot. If so, and if Robert's up for showing the AE there, I do believe I could be persuaded to bring Gargantua up to Chicago to show off the system and to potentially give all of the big modular guys a serious inferiority complex.
