Is that an aluminium hull on that "new" boat ?
Looks like lot of work to strip the paint, but probably worth it, lookin at the state of the outer layers.

That is alot of paint hopefully none of it is that ol' times lead paint. Funky look respirator contraption you got there.

Lead paint is definitely concerning. It may not be worth removing the paint.

You can buy lead paint test kits, just to be on the safe side.

You can buy lead paint test kits, just to be on the safe side. Mikael Yep my thoughts exactly. I have seen these kits which contain some kind of pen that you mark on the paint and it will discolour if lead is detected in the paint.
