Lots of references to old-school synth music sounds almost like a 80s pop remix that fell of a table and was glued together again hoping no-one would notice... this I mean in the most positive way. Very interesting arrangement that could almost keep the 80's pop synth tune vibe but not really. The sounds and the arrangement happened in different realities, most peculiar Doctor. I like it a lot actually the start/stop approach makes it edgy. Am I making sense here, is that even necessary?

Thanks very much pt3rSimilar to what I thought when I heard what Roger did with the percussion samples. It gave me hints of some 80s alternative scene but a bit different. Rog did the arrangement and all else and did a cracking job I reckon. |

The stop start approach very much evolved out of the samples maydronpoliris sent me, some of it because I was having trouble going from one rhythm to the next - the lurching changes left are the ones I like! My influences are pretty much 70s/80s synth "pop" with Tangerine Dream so that follows with your comments,  It wasn't intentional but I'm reminded of Cabaret Voltaire now it's finished.... The whole thing was meant to feel uneasy, so think it worked! Thanks for your feedback. All the sounds bar one were maydronpoliris samples but a few were manipulated so not quite what he sent me, really to help glue them together....  |

Yes I could definitely hear Cabaret Voltaire, something in the percussion I guess.
