Why is it that the consumers of electronic instruments sometimes strike me to be more entitled than other consumers? The social media for the moment seems to be rife with crybabies complaining about gear whether it be price point or functionalities.
Behringer are too cheap and they are ripping of I would never buy their stuf .... boohoo
This piece of obsolete kit is so user unfriendly why did everybody buy it ... boohoo
Teenage engineering have lost their mind and charge too much for the new op-1, I will never buy that stuff... waaahh
Modular is so stupid, you will spend so much money and never make it back... boooh
STFU already, nobody cares, you're nothing but a consumer like the rest of us and that's where your power lies, you can decide what to spend your money on but don't go around telling other people what to spend their money on. If gear does not do what you want it to do then don't buy it. If you think a certain brand it's too expensive, don't buy it. If you think a brand is ripping of your favorite brand, again, don't buy it. If you think you're going to spend too much money on a format then DON'T F*CK*NG BUY IT!
Enough already, you are not forced to buy all this gear, the number of professional musicians who need to buy gear to execute their profession is extremely low, heck most of us are just weekend warriors pretending to be musicians, filling every online streaming with mediocre music at best.
This is of course very easy to do until the next promo boy (most of these influencers are boys) has been sent a new free toy with blinking lights and solid sliders that is unsurprisingly revolutionary and indispensable in the setup of every bedroom producer out there...
