Thanks for listening, I never heard of Deathspell Omea until today, but will definitely check them out. I do like a good slice of black metal from time to time.
Edit: It seems like they got banned from bandcamp alongside bands like Taake, rumors mention they associated with NSBM. What I found on youtubes is musically very interesting. If this band adheres to NSBM then I will keep the same attitude I keep towards Varg Vikernes; fuck that guy's politics but what amazing music.

As a person of Jewish descent I was disturbed to hear about Deathspell Omega being part of that scene but I found no evidence to support it, albeit I didn't look that long. I think one of the vocalists they used had some ties to that abhorrent bull$hit but I'm uncertain of its validity. I can't stand Varg and, unfortunately, this prevents me from appreciating his music. I have friends of color that enjoy Varg's work regardless, so to each their own.
Paracletus and Drought changed the way I think about music.
