I'm think of getting a CB55 circuit (Boss DR55 clone) from circuitbenders. Can anyone off the top of their head tell me what the trigger lengths from the AE sequencers are in milliseconds? The voice trigger lengths required by the CB55 are 10ms.

Might be worth putting this in the DIY section, those guys are more likely to know this one I expect... or could put an oscilloscope on the AE for you!

It depends... The trigger length of the TRIQ164 are identical to the pulse width of the clock input (which is quite enough with a square wave); the triggers of the TOPGRAF are shorter than 10ms by default, but can be made longer by the configuration options.

Hi Robert. The Triq164 would seem the ideal candidate for sending the trigger pulses if they are the right length.

Using my crappy battery powered oscilloscope. I'm measuring about 55 milliseconds for the Gate pulse width on TRIQ164 and about 2.5 milliseconds pulse width on the Trigger output from the Topograf. Neither is good for the CB 55 ideal circuit trigger lengths (10ms). I think this means I would have to build the extra Trigger conditioning circuit on the CB 55 or else I'd get flamming with the AE gate pulses and just blips with the Trigger pulses. I'd be grateful if anyone could concur with those AE pulse width measurements. The DC levels are a healthy 5v DC though, which is ideal.
