hello carsten. thankyou for getting back to me. yes i have taken a cable from the lfo square to midi clk div. it does clk BUT both lights flash. i have the small switch set to dotted and div knob set to 1/ 32 This is absolutely normal, both leds will flash at different intervals though. |

this just goes from bad to worse after close attention nothing seems to work properly if you run a sequence it does not start from the beginning even with the short cable bstart to reset. i have tried adding the quantizer still no joy, a nightmare basically . this means i have no use anymore for this machine. why would something just stop doing what it did before

Your MIDI Divider seems to work fine at least after testing with the LFO. So maybe there is a problem with either the Master module or the way to connect MIDI to the Master module. It seems that no one here is familiar with the specific MIDI device you are using so we can't really help you with figuring out whether that is part of the problem. There are two things you can do from here: 1. Contact Robert and ask to maybe return the Master for a new one. 2. Make many more photos of your setup ... also of where your midi cables go and of your whole setup, not just the AE part of it. Or make a video where you trace all connected wires and explain how you've set everything up. Only with more information can we possibly help you at this stage. Cheers, Carsten. |

sorry everyone i had my master module at the right hand end of my rack so it was next to my mixer this is wrong it has to be at the left hand end i am really sorry for wasting everyones time

curious? I thought the master could go anywhere. Yes, the master can go anywhere. I've had my master module on the left and then on the right side of my rack and it worked the same either way. So although I'm happy that it now works for williamv, I'm mystified as to what the actual problem was. |

yes it is good that it works now.
Maybe it was something similar to my Type A clock fix I posted earlier where it needed to be reset somehow. In my case it had seemed to be reset by running the same Type B to Type B before again running the Type A Host to Type B on the Ae.
