Ok this is a quick PSA for those who want to document patches. I found this awesome tool that makes ASCII chartsExample: How to make a kick drum with the MS20Input:ENV -> VCA SQ Wave -> ENV MS20 @ Resonance -> VCA VCA -> OUT OUT -> PROFIT! Pertty ASCII Output:┌───────┐┌────────────────┐ │SQ Wave││MS20 @ Resonance│ └┬──────┘└┬───────────────┘ ┌▽──┐ │ │ENV│ │ └┬──┘ │ ┌▽────────▽┐ │VCA │ └┬──────────┘ ┌▽──┐ │OUT│ └┬──┘ ┌▽──────┐ │PROFIT!│ └───────┘

PS. It looks better in notepad. Edit: I kinda fixed it. For some reason the forum formatted with an extra \n after every line.

This seems a convenient way to communicate patches. Nice find.

I really like this visually, but also mentally it just makes sense like this for me. Nice find!

This could easily become the staple of patch tips/ideas.

Very good find ! Thanks for sharing this.
I'm wondering if I'm not going to use it in my daily job too.

I have been experimenting but so far I have found no way to send multiple outs from the same module. I also need to figure out how to identify the names of the connections if that is even possible.

Could just draw it yourself in the same style if can't put all the ins/outs on? Agree it's a great way of communicating/saving a patch.
