You're more than welcome - I'm delighted to have cracked so easily! Can't wait...

Brilliant that you can have tracks of different lengths (outside of divisions of 4/8 etc). I can see me picking up a second at some point so I can have multiple clock ins too.

Awesome! Much appreciated. π I like the tips compilation section. You could add that both fills and vertical step mode can be great for generating sequences with subsequent steps (something that won't happen with a 'vanilla' Euclidean sequence unless it's mostly full).

such a cool thing! I'm so glad a variety of sequencer styles are appearing. It's very exciting.
oh, and blinky lights!

I would love to add this to the Wiki, but don't know what this means! Err... ahhh... let me think of a better way to put it... This sequence would be impossible to generate via the Euclidean algorithm: A) [X X X X o o o o o o o o o o o o] this is though: B) [X o o o X o o o X o o o X o o o] and that's because the Euclidean algorithm tries to distribute space (or off notes) as evenly as possible. Displayed on Euclid Grid though, sequence B could look like this: [X o o o] [X o o o] [X o o o] [X o o o] If played horizontally (normally), you end up with sequence B, but when played vertically (something possible with Euclid Grid's step modes) you end up with sequence A.

Cool, got that, thanks. Didn't know certain patterns were impossible with Euclid! Thought it was as random as the Topograph!

So... it looks like the first batch of Euclid Grids is completely sold out! In just 6 days! Y'all are crazy (in the best possible way). Thanks everyone for making this first launch a success, and don't worry if you've missed out, I plan on doing another round. ππ₯³π

The 2nd round gives me time to save up and get another AE case etc....

Glad I got it working before the newsletter went out, but I've added a form to the shop page so people who missed the first batch can sign up for email notifications for the second batch! I'll probably post here when I have more, but if you want to hear it as soon as the stock hits the store, please consider signing up.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
hey there!
i was asked to leave my first impressions on Kyaa's debut module. so, here we go - though i feel kind of bad watering the mouths of those who came late for the first batch. i hear that more is on the way....
to make it short: though in the upper range of the AE price spectrum, this module is a must-have for anybody, who wants to bring in more complex sequencing without leaving the boundaries of the AE system itself. please, check out admin's excellent tutorial video to get a detailed insight of how things work and what this module is all about. if i had to characterize it, i would say it is something like the monster-mutant-version of TRIQ164. if the later one is a fiery dog on four legs, EUCLID GRID would be a dogtopus with always growing and changing tentacles...shimmering iridescently on that beautiful LED display.
what you have got is four, VERY flexible euclidian sequences. plus CV triggered fills to all of them. everything is laid out on a grid, which allows dramatic, instant changes with the turning of a knob. there are MUTE and MEMORY options, an internal clock and a row of additional patch points, which on its own is giving you what seems endless possibilities (here you get triggers from the vertical 'columns', depending on how you arrange your sequences within the 8x8 grid). handling is very intuitive and after a couple of minutes i could put my cheat sheet away....obviously this module is the perfect way to create changing (poly)rhythms or percussive patterns and a great tool for performing live. but as i said before: possibilities seem endless! imagine teaming this up with keurslagerkurt's FIVE STEPS or THE GREAT DIVIDE or whatever....i guess, EUCLID GRID could also be interesting for evolving ambient sequences...
the black module comes housed in a beautiful, branded cardboard tube. its design is minimal, clear and elegant. built quality is excellent. everything makes a very sturdy impression.
i am situated in Austria/E.U. and received Kyaa's parcel eight or nine days after placing my order, which is kind of impressive (from the U.S. to Europe in times like these, plus the whole custom procedure). import fees were around euro 25,- - i guess, you can take this as an average for any E.U. destination.
rΓ©sumΓ©: highly recommended. a quite formidable first release from Kyaa! wow! i am going to have a lot of fun with this addition to my rack! that's for sure!
hope this finds you all in good health!

you will freak out, Zeno. it seems as if Kyaa had YOU in mind constructing this! hope you'll have yours soon - could be that we don't hear from you for some time afterwards though....
(p.s.: remember when everybody was kneeing at the altar of CIRRUS and i was still waiting for mine, sitting on needles....i REALLY feel for you.)

Mine haven't moved in 10 days π
. I know I shouldn't look the tracking number too often as it can give some anxiety π.
Reading those first impressions and with AE modular in general I know the wait is always worth it!
After this as a first release I can only imagine what crazy module will come next!

So many beautiful blinking lights (startup sequence is <3 !) Because of this, I've now had to buy a third (single row) rack to go with my current double and single racks

yep , they are dropping down like flies mine arrived this morning ,, no customs interference ,,, seems to be about the only benefit of brexit currently: this weird sailing through of electronics from abroad!! fine looking thing , had an hour or so of fun with it and 2 x Core.ae KastleDrum firmwares plus a special beta thing from John at Wonkystuff that shall remain secret.. most likely until new year ... hush hush, wink wink, say no more... he wonβt even answer the phone to discuss it with me itβs that MI5!! ;-p

It's a work of art this thing - fantastic interface and incredibly well thought out... I'm very impressed!
Feature requests you say? Probably not doable, but if there was a way of selecting clock divisions per track that would be even more incredible. Odd divisions too... Yum!

Well done all around, this is great and it will further push AE into a serious platform. I bought two. One for my main set up and for my portable 2-tier that I am currently building at the beach while on vacation. I plan to buy 2 more later, one for my friendβs 2 tier that I am building for her for mid next year and one for my drone 2-tier.
