Just thought I would pass on my experiences with this module having owned it for a few months now. It sounds wonderful. Any fault would be forgiven for that (I have a couple of dreadful synths I keep for 1 or 2 sounds I love on them), but I can't fault the Phaser module. I am a long way from plumbing all its depths yet, (e.g. I haven't tried using the separate stage outputs or taken it off 8 stages), but have found lots of fun things to do with it. One of my favourites is phasing the spring reverb as per my PC2 Video. forum.aemodular.com/thread/190/patch-challenge-2The shift and feedback knobs are more useful than I expected, and the whole thing is so much easier to use to tweak the sound than most FX boxes. Most modulation is an LFO but I have discovered the joys of an envelope affecting the phasing, can be very filter sweep like, subtle or anything in-between and it's great! Of course, you can have both! Just wonderful stuff. The module's best friend is the Solina, but most sounds will sound "enlivened" by the Phaser; I want the wavetables module now as I expect that combination would be mind blowing! I have created VC controlled wet/dry mix by using the main out dry (knob all way to dry...) and the wet out to the 4VCA (other VC mixers are available.) fading in the phasing is superb, really shows you what it does. Some of this stuff I will put on the module's Wiki page soon, as it currently does not have any patch suggestions, more are welcome.....

Great Module, A patch suggestion is once setting up your desired sound feed each of the 4 stages out into VCA's and triggering separately by envelopes. Can create interesting patterns and accents this way. Also feeding each into the MM33 is cool too for manual control over those stages.
Feed one stage into the FX module, another or more into Dronx.
works well with Solina, wavetables or bring in an external Drum machine (or anything really) to create little accents off the beat using the stages.

Love it. It sounds jaw-droppingly beautiful and can be as discrete or psychedelic as you want it to be.

On the wiki, thank you! Must start messing with the individual stage outs....
