Opened out, it might look a bit like this, but with the handle angling the foremost 2-row case up a little...

... like in my older set-up that sadly destroyed the acrylic side pieces (note the rough temporary wood replacement above)

Actually, I think that for home use, the above design would be fine.

Just don't hang it from a guitar strap and take it out busking!
