Hello everyone,
I tried to plug the Korg Monotron delay in the 4I/O module, and something I can't explain is happening :
- There is still sound that comes out the monotron speaker at a very low volume
- The volume of the Monotron signal I obtain in the AE system is very low too
I tried with different cables, but it's the same result. This doesn't happen with any other device (PO-33 works great, Volca key too, ...).
When I plug the Monotron delay to another device (let's say a Korg NTS-1 or headphones), I don't have this issue.
The socket on the 4I/O is on AUD.
That is not a real big issue, because I can workaround this, but it just picks my curiosity. Is anyone having an explanation ?

How exactly do you plug the monotron to the Æ ? Do you use a stereo cable ?

Make sure your 4I/O is in stereo for the socket you are using (1/2 or 3/4) and then you should find you have 2 feeds to send into your Ae. Failing that, if you have a stereo to 2x Mono lead, try that instead.

Might need to put the monotone through the 2signalamp to boost it.

Ok that's it, that's because I already have a stereo cable plugged for the volca in socket 1, and then I tried to plug the monotron in socket 2.
But as I understand, socket 2 is busy by volca stereo signal.
Thanks all !

Yes that's exactly right, you need to plug your monotron stereo cable into input 3
