Hey all! I just released a new EP, its a collage of ambient & beat-oriented tracks recorded during my two-week travel in Italy. Took my AE & PO-33 with me, powered on batteries & a power-bank. keurslagerkurt.bandcamp.com/album/greetings-from-liguriaeAs this is the AE forum, I'll give some extra patch notes with the tracks: Track 1: RBSS drives the sequence notes. IIRC I used the inverse of the RBSS for the bass pitch. Slow envelopes generate triggers & notes. 'bird sounds' at the start and end, are actually a sample of me wistling, processed through the Cirrus to give it the chirping feel. Track 2: Different synth sounds & loops recorded from AE straight into PO33. Drums are recorded samples from a Boss Dr-Synth. PO-33 did the sequencing & some FX (stutter, scratches, reverse,..) Track 3: Generative, eerie ambient/drone track, made with lots of slow modulation & RBSS having heavy influence in the notes. All sent through lots of reverb from Cirrus and the Delay. Small clicks are of course provided by cirrus. Also used the reverb & delay on the 1010Bluebox (my recorder there). Left the patch running without listening for about 20 minutes. Relistened later and cut out my favorite excerpt. (Full version is a bonus track for the album) Track 4: Recorded a small excerpt of a Frank Ocean track that was playing outside. Drums are all sounds I made with my mouth (IM A SCATMAN ) & recorded/sequenced with PO-33. Synths are AE recordings, sequenced with PO-33. Track 5: A recording at the sea, processed with Cirrus, with some slow modulation of the different parameters. one slow, looping envelope through the quantizer control the two note sequences. One oscillator is controlled by the inverse envelope of the other. The envelopes are attenuated, and the amount of attenuation determines how 'high'/'low' the note sequence goes. Hope some can enjoy this collection!

Very diverse release.
Favourite tracks are sound of salt & tonight we slept in the car. You do some witchcraft time bending here since it seems to go on for much longer than the 2:49. That cover though. Zeno goes "tien om te zien"

Zeno's better half - "honey, isn't it nice to be on holidays to spend some quality time together" keurslagerkurt - "yes it's lovely....(picks up Aemodular)...I'm just going outside for a second" Great mix of tracks, hard to pick a favourite, I'm going with Sound of salt. Appreciate those patch notes, will use the inverse of rbss tip.

Thank you all for the kind words ๐ pt3r : it is the incredibly glamorous italodisco influence ๐
maydonpoliris : haha yeah, I was not 'allowed' to take more synths with me out fear for that situation ๐ however my better half likes to take a 45min nap everyday around 3pm, and Italians actually do this siรซsta too. So that was a perfect fit.
