Hey all! Not really a track, but more of an excursion through the possibilities of Cirrus. I fed the module a sound of me 'plinging' a glass (an Orval glass to be specific!). The sound was recorded with my PO-33 and then sent to Cirrus through the 4I/0. Everything was recorded with my portable 1-row of modules. Other sound sources are 2Osc/d through SVFilter & the Grains module with the Wavetable firmware. 2x 2Env modules provide a lot of modulation, also modulating eachother through VCA's and such. RBSS and the Quantizer deliver some randomness and triggers. Everything goes through the Dual Delay of the MultiFX. Hope some of you enjoy, I def found it a very interesting listen when I sat in front of the rack. I feel like I'm gonna sample the hell out of the Cirrus, there was even a good Tambourine sound somewhere in that glass pling. soundcloud.com/zzzvm/cirrus-glass/s-mvQ4zFba2xm

My cup of tAE! These are the kind of sounds that turned me to AE modular in the first place. I like bleeps and bloops like any other synthesist but the abstract scrapes is where it's at. Perhaps I should get a PO33 as a cheap portable sampling solution for the AEmodular, or build someting arduino lofi.

Considering 'something arduino lofi', I myself did try out the ISD1820 chip in the past, which is def up for that task. Here I tried in a simple circuit, and this AE user converted it into a beautiful sample player/recorder with SD card! I love the PO-33, but its probably overkill/pricey if you just want to record. It also only has 60sec of memory. However, it comes with a lovely, 4-voice pattern sequencer, cool lofi filter, pitch transposition, some FX,... So def an interesting instrument!

Fantastic track and very creative.
The pattern/pitch sequencer is what makes the Po33 so much fun. Not sure what it's going for now price wise but I recommend this. Makes me want to get mine out again.
Keen to try the diy/sampler out though.
