Greetings -- I finally got my first system! I'm so impressed and instantly in love with this thing. A lot of really smart design choices and it feels a lot more solid than I expected. I dropped about $800, but in the grand scheme you get a hell of a lot of modular for your money. I have a relatively massive eurorack so I didnt think much of what I was adding, however having it in hand it's like damn... there's really a lot going on in a very tiny space for cheap. Easy to wiggle, too. Anyhow, I'm sure most of you reading this have had the same experience.
Only real question I have that I haven't found an answer to (although I'm notoriously bad at searches): how do all of you deal with the bus cables bunching up? It seems unavoidable to just a small extent, but the modules are so close to the backboard that I'm finding it really difficult to tuck them up underneath the way I can in euro. Is it just a tight fit and that's how it is, or is there a trick to it?
Side question: I goofed and only got 25cm patch wires as the longest ones. Anyone know if the 55cm length will reach across two row wide case? Seems to be the biggest Noise Bug offers, and since I'm stateside I'd rather order there than wait a long time. Im 95% packed up for a move so I've got no idea where the tape measure went.

welcome mate and congrats, good to have you aboard. I've got the 2*16 row case and the red 40cm is what you need there. while you wait for the longer cables you can use the mult connection points like shown in the photo below to do simple 1 in/1 out connections to get the distance. On the bus cables, it is normal to be a bit tight. They shouldn't bunch up too much with all connections spread out along the 16slots but I'm lucky with my gnome like fingers its not too bad..... If its really bunching up a lot send a pick a if your able and will have a look. cheers.

I moslty use the red and green wires in my patches. The grey one also work very well but you have to arrange your modules in a certain way to reach them often. The 40cm and 55cm are the way to go

Thank you! The bunching isn't that bad -- the first time with my hands really on the format I got the two case put together in about 15-20 mins. I'm not sure if its being caused by the Dronx and Meter specifically, or if its just because those are the two at the end of the rows. Just had to do a little stuffing with those because the bus cable wanted to extend a bit beyond their headers. I just always assume there's something I don't know, and I didn't see a thread on it.

The only time I've had trouble getting the bus cable in place was in a 2x12 rack with a performance mixer, 3-channel expansion, and the 2 jack expansions for it in one row. That's 1 power connection (for the actual mixer module) and 9 spare connectors on that side of the vertical divider board thing. I ended up cutting off most of the bus cable since I'm pretty much dedicating this rack to mixer stuff anyway.

Ample headers is one of my favorite design elements.
