This will be the first time in many years that I'm not dreading the day when my holidays are over since I have a whole new rack and a bunch of new modules waiting for me at home to discover/assemble. Still enjoying the holidays though .

I brought an AE DIY project with me to the family sommerhouse, but forgot my multimeter so there is not much i can do except go fly the 2.8 M deltakite i build with my son. If everything goes as planned it will carry a special rig with an old IPhone up to 30-50 meters altitude and take pictures.

Have found that since getting heavily involved in Ae it does take the focus away from the daily grind and also from any of the normal anxiety or depressiony feelings we get. An awesome way to help shift your focus into a creative way rather than destructive if that makes sense.

An awesome way to help shift your focus into a creative way rather than destructive if that makes sense. First of all I am no mental health expert, far from.
I can see, relate how an involvement can shift your focus away from destructive/negative behavior towards more positive/creative endeavors, but I'm pretty sure that in itself is not enough as it is not a complete way of dealing with possible underlying issues. Eventually we must look our monsters in the eye and deal with 'em instead of bottling them up. That dark genie will eventually break free at some point, no matter how strong the bottle. At least that's me talking from my own experiences. We must talk about our mental health, something men are not so good at IMHO.

Hopefully that is changing and men are starting to chat/deal with their dark genie's. Very important imho too.
More of a clearing of the mind/meditative way rather than a fix or a lock it in a possibly already full suitcase.
I guess that's what hobbies/interests partly do.
