This has been a real labour of love/Pita. Built mainly from a mix of AEM samples heavily processed through Audiomulch. I'm going to do lots more using this process. Though it takes forever to do over just the usual live jams. Thanks for listening!

That is a very worthwhile labour of love! It's an awesome track!
I've been thinking of sampling the AE for sounds and using them to construct tracks on the Deluge ... but it seems so much work that I've never actually attempted it.
Audiomulch looks very interesting, is this your primary audio environment?

Another really cool track 101.
Will look into audiomulch too to see what the user interface is like, do you find it easy to use?
I was using the electribe sampler for a while but gave it up as it was so much work with hardly any storage. I'll say though the process was rewarding in the end once the track was down. Always looking to find a more user friendly sampler. The blackbox looks good too but a big investment........anyone with experience with that? Haven't thought of the deluge as a sampler. Maybe that's an option too.

Thanks so much people for listening and commenting. I've had Audiomulch for quite a long time now but only recently started using it to sample bars of AEM and guitar and combine the two. I think its big advantage over the usual DAW is its awesome DSP effects. One of the key things that has helped me do it was having a USB audio interface with a stereo line in (there are hardly any about). And the only one I could find that could do the job was the cheap as chips Behringer UCA 222 USB. Result!
This has enabled me to noodle this all together comfortably on my laptop. Though it is a very laborious process, I'm happy with the results.

I'd be happy with those results. Just saw a tutorial on Audiomulch. Looks interesting and deserves a deeper dive. Seems like I'm starting to get a list of these type of programs out of the community 😅. Great stuff. Cheers for the cheap as chips tip on the audio interface too.

ahhh! good old Mulch ... that’s the one thing i miss greatly after moving away from computers to ios .. Ross is such a genius and a REALLY nice guy.. there are things that run close in ios but nothing really does the ‘concreté’ fileplayer shenanigans and I especially love the Doppler Room effect that has an fx send tap at the ‘back of the room’ ... nothing like that elsewhere that I have found yet... oh! and then there is the Meta-Surface .. it’s like a giant morphing web of preset settings you can play for hours...the only thing close in iOS is all the APESOFT apps that have an XY surface to flow between 4 presets.. Meta-Surface is the wise old Grandaddy of that stuff.. admin Ross Bencina ... another fine entry into the Great Australians hall of fame 101 lovely track ... especially like after 2 mins when the arpy 303-ish thing drops out and it starts to brrrreeeaaaathe

Very nice track! I feel the same as admin about sampling, it's so much work compared to straight modular! ... But obviously has some nice results

Thanks, it's a first experiment! In some ways it's been easier to build from samples and tweak rather then having to perfect the whole thing in one go.

That is/was my plan for my newly-acquired model:samples... time will tell whether I ever create any samples! I've been sampling some AE throughout with my Digitakt. Nice thing about the Digi is that it can directly sample audio input, so no laptop needed like with the M:S. Don't know how that is on the Deluge!

& Really nice track 101!! You can really here that you put in quite the grind with so many nice details. Like some strange acid dubstep with some goa flavor on top, tasty!

Like the music, also like a non-distracting video, can't do some music on Youtube as I start watching the images rather than listening!!

Another such folly from me. Basically murdering the wavetable module in Audiomulch.

Thanks maydonpoliris. I think in this case the music and the artwork in the video are fairly inseparable. The sum of their parts. It's a spooky location and there are many more little art huts /studios. I'm going to go back there one day and sneakily hang up a link to the vid.

That's a great idea, I like how then people can walk around the place listening to your track.

Another such folly from me. Basically murdering the wavetable module in Audiomulch. Really like some of the artwork, particularly the first 2. The camera work suited the style of the music. Just started to recording video with my phone with a view to putting music to it, this encouraged me to just do it!

I'm also a big fan of Ross and Audiomulch. I have not been mulching for a bit, so it's inspiring me to dive back in.
