Hello forum
I recently purchased a Retrokits RK006 to try and sync all of my gear together. I'm not sure my problem lies with the Master I/O or the RK006 so I'm going to ask in both places so please mind my repetition of things/dumm questions etc. if that happens.
I'm sending midi clock from a (long borrowed Yamaha aw1600 from namke ) to the Master I/O and it's recieving clock all good and fine with the beat divider running and sending a signal to the MM-Div. All flashing in time. Sweet. Now I'm sending the B.Clock from the Master I/O to CTRL I/O 1/2 and its all fine until I plug a patch chord from the CTRL to the RK006. Once I do this then the Beat Divider stops running (affecting everything from there on). Unplug the patch cable and the Beat Divider starts to run again, so at this point I'm kind of stuck.
I've also tried to send clock through the RK006 to the CTRL I/O and it's fine but then there's no reset and since I'm using all this gear to lock to a HD recorder that seems pointless.
Also clock from the RK006 from the (RK)supplied TRS to midi and through the (AE) Midi to TRS doesnt seem to want to work, hence why sending the clock to the AE first and then the RK006 (seems) like the only option :/
I'm hoping that makes some kind of sense in a Laymans kinda way
Thanks in advance

I think I may have worked it out. I think I need a trs to midi male type b to go from the RK TRS AXB dongle to the AE.
I'll let you know when I get the cable through
