After a (long) hiatus, I'm now now doing some more work on the AE Wiki, wiki.aemodular.com/ What I would be interested to know from users is useful, less obvious patch ideas for the various modules. Ideally they will be pretty simple (we have to describe with words) and certainly do not want to use an army of modules another user may not have. The way 2 modules could interact is a great idea to pass on, how to generate a particular part for a piece of music could be helpful. For further guidance please look at the individual module pages on the Wiki. The ideas can be for modules where we have completed the pages, or for newer modules we haven't done yet (Robert is creating new ones too fast!). If you are not sure just pop it in this thread anyway, If you have a good demo video, again pop in this thread please, you will see there are some videos in the Wiki very much focused on a single module/topic, short and sweet is best. Anyway, look forward to a deluge hopefully.....

Disappointed with no responses at all! If you think you're idea is silly/ too basic I would rather you put it here as may trigger another idea even if yours isn't suitable for whatever reason. I was actually hoping this would turn into a discussion thread for weird/interesting patching but hey-ho.....
There is some minor editing of old pages going on, as well as (gradually) doing some of the backlog of modules we haven't done the pages for yet, Robert is producing them too fast! If you spot a mistake (we're Human), pm the admin here on the forum.
Regards.

This probably sums up why no responses Pol, like myself thinking that the patching they are doing is at the most basic level and would be silly to post.
I guess nothing is silly as someone eventually will find it useful or as you say trigger other ideas.
I'll noodle over this.

I admire all the wiki community work, as it is really a ton of work to do it properly, and its VERY useful when figuring out a module. While creating the wiki texts for my own modules I realised how much work it is, and how seemingly 'basic' stuff when you know the module, is very needed to add in a wiki. Since my modules' release early this year, I had a plan to make a decent tutorial video, and more sound demos, but I just can't seem to find the needed amount of time/energy for it. Maybe one day in the summer, who knows.
Anyway, just wanted to share my huge respect for all wiki contributors, you deliver great work, that is not appreciated enough.

not sure if this is a useful discussion point.
Using trigger modules as a filter.
For example using the Audio out from the Wavetables into the trigger in of the Drumkit010. The Detune or Freq Coarse on the wavetables will set the beat and then you go nuts turning knobs creating a million sounds.

This actually sounds like an idea that would cover a major aspect of (AE) modular in that you can stick anything into anywhere and see what happens, I'm not sure new users would pick this up...

Yes love how you don't have to worry about breaking anything when learning or experimenting even when you don't understand one or all of the modules.
