Hello everyone! admin , slowscape and I had the idea to start an AE Modular Synth Podcast and Carsten and I recorded a first "trial run" episode last night/morning. EPISODE #01: 67 Modules in 14 Minutes!Timecodes: 0:00 - Introduction 5:40 - 67 Modules in 14 Minutes! 23:14 - The 5th Volt's AE Modular Synth Jam 27:37 - Patch Breakdown EPISODE #02: DIY Talk and Modular Synth TechniquesTimecodes: 00:21 Introduction 02:13 DIY in AE Modular 40:31 Modular Techniques/Patterns More episodes are planned with the three of us, but as with everything here, we want to make this a community thing of course! So please post your feedback and content ideas in this thread. Some things do discuss:- Technical details: yeah, that first episode was a test run with a simple Zoom recording. We will make our faces bigger next time and I'll see that I improve my video quality - If you want to design an intro logo, animation and/or sound jingle (10 sec max. AE Modular sounds only), please send them to tuesdaynightmachines@gmail.com - What topics would you like to be discussed? - Who would you like to have on the podcast? - Do you want to record your own episode? If so, send us a private message (or e-mail me at the address above) and we can make a schedule/list, so that we keep a continuous episode numbering and maybe even proper release schedule.

That was great!
Of course we need a jingle and a logo! I really enjoyed the 10second modules, but I could be very nice to have a random draw of let's say 3/4 moduels and a little more detailed explanation on them and why not at the end, a jam using thoses modules together or paired with other. Like the patch challenges we used to have, but centered around modules.

Thank you! Those are very good ideas! Also, please do design a logo and jingle and send it to me.

Thank you! Those are very good ideas! Also, please do design a logo and jingle and send it to me. I'll try do do a jingle today or this week. As for the logo, I do not have any skill in the matter, but my girlfriend does, and she's willing to help, we'll try to do something as well. I'll let you know when it's done

It was kind of like a game of charades, trying to summarize things in such a strict time limit. It was fun though!

Well done guys, I get fed up with the tech not working to do such things calmly!

We did it again! This time I got slowscape and NightMachines on the Zoom call and we chat about DIY projects and our favourite modular patching techniques. We would love to read your feedback and any ideas for future podcast episodes. We also plan to have other guests on the channel, so if you would like to get involved, please let us know. Big thanks to moruial and his partner for making the intro video!

The recurring message of less is more is very inspiring.

admin I used the diy module to build my AEclidian sequencer so yeah I think it is really a neat module. Yeah that was a really nice example with some good reference pictures you made! IIRC someone else also asked some questions about the DIY module last months and made something with it, but will have to dig on the forum to find it again.
