Hi I'm posting this here as I'm not sure what else to do about the situation at this point --
I ordered several modules and a case from AEModular 3+ months ago. I received an email at the end of January saying that my order had shipped though with no tracking info provided. It's been over a month and I still haven't received the modules and case. I emailed AEModular and them messaged through the website and have not received a response after weeks of waiting. I'm in the US and understand shipments can be delayed due to the pandemic however this degree of delay and poor communication is surprising to me. If anyone from AEModular is reading this please be in touch asap. Thanks.

An order I made in October arrived in mid-February. Customs leaving Germany is a pain and transatlantic shipping is really bad, and receiving stuff and transferring from Deutsche Post or DHL to the USPS is really REALLY slow. Even if you had tracking you'd just be watching it sit somewhere in either Frankfurt or a US international cargo port waiting to get through customs. Yes, this sucks. Your package is on the way though. |

I say you have about three or four more months to go before you receive your order. It's best to order from Noisebug as those modules are already stateside. Otherwise use DHL express shipping if you're ordering from Germany.

Thanks for the confidence. Sorry if my post is redundant with other posts or information here. Robert is always incredibly busy and sometimes it takes a few emails to "get through" to him. COVID has really f*cked up the global postal system and it has a detrimental effect both ways - packages with components don't get to Robert in time and ready made order shipments to customers get also delayed. Brexit has also put more than one spanner in the works for DHL. So far I'm not aware of a single system that didn't arrive! Some packages were incredibly long delayed, were stuck forever in customs, went weird routes, etc. but they eventually all arrive. |
