Here's a quick demo of using the tangible waves Quantizer module as an interesting trigger sequencer. Thanks to the trigger outputs, you can have the module convert a simple LFO signal into loads of wild, but repeating, rhythms.

A prime example of what makes modular so infinitely versatile. Very nice demo, but not very wallet friendly . My wishlist for modules is growing exponentially.

NightMachines - brilliant idea! It is inspiring as I haven't put enough attention to those trigger outputs of Quantizer. Very cool, thank You!

Thanks! I really like how there are a lot of ways to incorporate this into a patch. For example, if you want to sync these triggers to a regular beat, you can simply use an AD/AR envelope instead of a triangle LFO, triggered by a clock divider. Like this you could also use the module as a voltage controllable ratchet effect, to spice up your Berlin School music performance

that’s exactly the use I purchased it for.. i wasn’t so interested in the musical quantizing and more intrigued by the possibilities of the trigger function .. for piping other audio sources through and seeing where it decides to trigger ... i’ve been using random real world stuff from a recorder, it hadn’t occurred to me to try a cyclical oscillator or two.. but i will now... cheers for the inspiration...
