Hello,
I'm creating my first thread here, hope it's the good place!
I bought my rack pre mounted from error instruments, and it features the 3vcswitch but have no ideas how to use it : to be honest each time I try to think about the reversed version of it (switching from two inputs to one output).
I would be very glad if some of you share some creative ideas on how they use it! Might be simple or complex, anyway I'll give it a go!
Thank you every one!

The 3VCS is bidirectional so you can have one input to two outputs or the other way around.
Simple ideas: Create a synth voice patch with an LFO modulating the filter’s cutoff. Now patch that LFO into one switch input and patch a different LFO into the other switch input. Patch the output into the filter cutoff CV input. Now use gate outputs of a sequencer or a square LFO to switch between two LFOs
Only patch one input of the switch and leave the other empty. Now use the button (or a gate) as a mute switch for that signal.
Use it for hard left/right panning on a stereo patch. It even works at audio rate. Patch an audio signal into it and the outputs to the left and right speaker outputs respectively. Now use a square VCO to quickly switch that audio signal between the ears for crazy effects.
Basically whenever you patch an audio or CV signal into a module, get a second one and use the switch to switch between them.

As NightMachines mentioned, the connections are bidirectional, so you can use it as a selector between two inputs or as a "router" sending one input signals to.two outputs. I use it e.g. for switching between two different filters; oscillator goes to two filters, and the two filter outputs are selected with the 3VCSWITCH. Nice for live playing to get different sound qualities. Just one idea.. Generally speaking, the module comes in when you think "now I would change this patchwire from here to there and back again" but you don't want to actually touch the wire (or want to automate it).

Sorry for my rouch english. Today im waiting for my first AE Modules so i can't say somthing about This switch but in My experimts with Switches i can say that there are verry interessting for switching between two or more sequencerers. E. G the first seq end and can jump with a switch to the next. Rythmical Things are ging well too. Plug in lfo or seq.. And the cv out of Filters, waveshapers..

I have it for one hour mabe so don't have many ideas yet, but my first use of the module is to switch between two triggers for one env. The idea is this: Seq16 gate output to 1B, LFO trigger output to 1A of the 3VCSWITCH, then IO1 of this module to gt1 of ENV, (which output goes into cv of the VCA with VCO plugged in) and finaly accent ouput of SEQ16 (for example set to every four steps) to 3VCSWITCH GATE1 input to control switching between triggers. It gives nicely varied gates, with lfo fast enough you will get nice tremolo effect once in a four steps. Oh, and maybe it's obvious but switching the 1A and 1B inputs will reverse the turns. Im my case it would put tremolo on every sequencer's step except every fourth. In my opinion it's very useful module with many ways to spice things up with creative switching, good it includes three swithces within

Nice patching arti. My 3VCSWITCH is on order. I figured it can help do different time signatures like 5/4 using the TRIQ164 reset outputs. Useful in the future TOPOGRAF module too.
